Born and raised in Lincoln, I grew up surrounded by home renovation and construction experts. My mom, Ann, is a lifelong entrepreneur who ultimately found her vocation as a remodeling contractor for the last 20 years of her career. My father is a skilled carpenter and handyman, and my step-father a master plumber. This upbringing instilled a passion for making beautiful spaces, and a deep respect for the people who do that work. 

Since my first job in high school at Ideal Grocery I have been drawn to small, local businesses that are deeply rooted in their community. Knowing that I wanted to follow in my mom's footsteps, I attended the Entrepreneurship program at SCC where my final project focused entirely on owning a remodeling company and showroom. After over 10 years of managing another local tile showroom, building a close network of industry professionals, and founding Altera Remodel in 2022, I decided to take a leap of faith and create the business I had always dreamed of. Altera Tile & Remodel combines my skills, my passions, and my commitment to help support and grow the Lincoln community I love.
